Play Review: The Crucible

Nov 06, 2017

This past Thursday, October 19th, almost all of Lee Vining High School’s senior and junior classes traveled to Mammoth to watch the Edison Theater’s The Crucible, adapted from Arthur Miller. Because both of these classes (AP English and English 11/12) just finished reading the profoundly dramatic play, seeing the play in real life helped students gain a better understanding of the work as a whole.

Small School, Big Team Spirit

Over this Labor Day weekend, Lee Vining High School’s Junior Varsity and Varsity volleyball teams competed at the Trona Tournament for their first and second games of the year. Both teams did amazingly well, with Junior Varsity getting 6th place and Varsity winning 3rd place overall.

LVHS Haunted House 2017

This year the High School’s Haunted House at the Halloween Carnival on October 27 had much shorter lines, but brought in more than 150 people to experience the fright. It was a great success, and LVHS hopes next year will be even better.
